This wooden beads bracelet is made to create an awareness about child nutrition. The bracelet shows the appropriate feeding pattern in the first two years of a child's life. In this bracelet the brown wooden beads is painted with number 0, 6, 9, 12 and 24 which indicate the age of a child in a month. The white beads indicate breastfeeding during the period since the child is born till 6 months.

Following the pattern, from 6 to 9 we can see the colorful beads. The brown beads indicate the carbohydrates requires for the child which can be found in cereals, grains, potatoes etc. Yellow beads means proteins like pulses, legumes and nuts. Green beads means Vitamins and Minerals like green leafy vegetables, fruits etc. Blue beads means Protein, Vitamins and fat that can be found in eggs, fish, meat and dairy.
